HASHRATE HACKERS UPDATE: DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND WE HAVE LOWERED THE PRIVATE ORDINAL MINT FROM 10 to 1!
In case you missed Friday’s announcement, Blockware is launching an Ordinals Project backed by Bitcoin mining – and we are having an exclusive pre-sale for Blockware clients and subscribers. Due to popular demand, we have dropped the MOQ for this offering to 1!
Click here to read the full details on the project. Here are the high-level details:
Blockware has been working on this project in stealth for over 1.5 years. We are bringing true utility to the Bitcoin NFT (Ordinal) ecosystem.
The proceeds from the sale of Hashrate Hackers Ordinals are deployed into new-generation Bitcoin Miners (a successful mint out of the project will back the Ordinals by an estimated $10m Bitcoin Mining operation).
Hashrate Hackers will leverage Blockware’s current best in class already developed mining operations, allowing us to scale quickly and efficiently.
Approximately 60% of the monthly mining profits from the entire operation are distributed back to holders of the ordinals every month in a gamified way.
The project covers all energy and Opex costs, you simply just have to hold the Ordinal and participate in the skill based game monthly to win Bitcoin.
The remaining proceeds (40%) are re-deployed back into the project by acquiring additional miners, which will allow the project to continuously scale.
The pre-sale closes at 11:59 pm on February 28th, 2025, over 7 figures of capital have already been raised privately.
The price per Ordinal is .01 BTC (a 20% discount to the March public mint price!).
Blockware clients (existing or new) will receive a $50 per ordinal hosting energy credit.
If you buy 100 ordinals or more, for every 100 that you purchase, you receive 1 x S21 Hydro 335T (a ~$9200 value) on top of the energy credit.
Hashrate Hackers is a novel project that combines ordinals with proof-of-work. Click here to purchase!
Mining Difficulty Drops 3.15%
After a sequence of 8 consecutive positive difficulty adjustments dating back to October 2024, mining difficulty has now dropped in 2 out of the last 3 adjustments. The first negative adjustment was mostly due to extreme cold temperatures spanning across the northern hemisphere at the time (which resulted in curtailments from large miners).
Now that difficulty has adjusted down again (without the help of inclement weather), it’s likely that difficulty growth will remain slow until the next leg-up in the Bitcoin price. The spree of difficulty growth in Q4 was the combination of:
New Machines hitting the Market (S21 XP, etc.)
Older machines becoming profitable again and plugging back in
With the drop in difficulty, miner revenue per TeraHash has bumped up to ~$0.057/Th/Day. Since last April’s halving, miner revenue has remained remarkably consistent — with hash price treading around the $0.06/Th/Day level.
Every day Bitcoin miners are accumulating BTC, similar to a dollar-cost average strategy, but they’re doing so at a discount to the spot price. Here’s an updated look at the “cost of production” for various BTC mining rigs.
The gap between old-generation machines like the S19j Pro and even the least-efficient new-generation machines is astounding. An S19j Pro (29.5 W/T) is effectively at breakeven, producing BTC for ~$95,000. Meanwhile, an S19K Pro (23 W/T) is producing BTC for $75,000.
The most efficient ASIC in the market, the S21 XP (13.5 W/T) is producing BTC at ~$45,000.
