Transaction Fees Declining
The ordinal frenzy from earlier this year appears to have died down. Most transactions waiting in the mempool have a fee in the 1-7 Sats/vByte range; contrary to earlier this year in which they were frequently in the 10-50+ range.
However, the total number of transactions in the mempool remains high. But lower fees indicate that users are not in any hurry to have their transactions included in a block.
